Are the model cyclists suitable for children?

No. The figures are small die cast items and handlebars are a little fragile, . They are not sold as toys suitable for children and are intended as collectibles or souvenirs for responsible adults !

Can you write names on the bespoke jerseys?

Yes we can - but only up to 7 letters ( or digits ). The width of the back is only 5mm shoulder to shoulder so there isnt much room to work with. Your'e OK if you want FROOME on the back but out of luck if you wanted CAVENDISH

Can I order a cyclist to be sent direct to a different address?

Yes, you can specify a separate recipient and delivery address at the checkout stage. Let us know if you want a message putting in with the delivery or don't want the receipt to be included.

How long does it take to paint me a bespoke cyclist?

We will do our best to fulfil smaller orders with  a week of receiving the order. We do most of the painting on Friday, Saturday and Monday and mail outs on Monday and Tuesday. We can turn around orders more quickly if we are able. At peak times we may take a little longer but will notify you if there is any significant delay.

Can I order lots of custom painted figures for my cycling club?

Yes, this is possible. Please contact us via the contact page or by phone for prices on larger volume orders of bespoke figures.

Do you need me to supply an image to base a bespoke cyclist on?

We find it much easier to ensure an accurate result if we have an image to work from. If you don't have one then maybe refer us to a website of a particular kit manufacturer or cycle team that we can use to work from to make sure we get the design and colours right. we want you to be satisfied with your model cyclist and working from an image is the better than working from a description that could be wrongly interpreted. HOW DO I ORDER MORE THAN ONE CYCLIST ON THE WEBSITE?

To order a number of items from the website -  after you are taken to the checkout, simply click on the title section of the page at the top, where it says 'The Model Cyclist', this takes you back to the home page and allows you to continue shopping!
